Amy's Biography
Amy Broghamer has more than 12 years of professional sales experience, yet her award-winning sales career began much earlier, with the Girl Scouts of America, where she finished 1st Place selling the most cookies in Southeastern Indiana. This marked the beginning of Amy's growing passion for sales, when she learned the value of networking and delivering superior customer service. This enthusiasm for selling continued throughout high school and college, where Amy continued her sales pursuits at Wilson's Leather, The Tiffany Lamp Store and The Kentucky Kernel (University of Kentucky's award-winning campus newspaper), where she sold advertising.
Challenging selling situations are no stranger to Amy Broghamer. Since beginning her professional career in sales, Amy has worked in three of the most competitive sales industries. In her third year, Amy took a promotion to Atlanta, GA, where she won her Third Presidents Club Award improving her ranking to #8 of 485.
Extraordinary customer service coupled with a relentless work ethic is the pinnacle of Amy's success and what has led her to her latest and lifelong challenge - Real Estate.

Testimonials
Thank you for having the knowledge and patience to lead us to our first home. We put ourselves in your hands as soon as we met and we always felt professionally and warmly guided. We valued your upbeat character and readiness to go the extra step. It certainly shows that you care about what you do and the people you work with!
I had an excellent experience working with Amy Broghamer at Remax! She was professional, knowledgeable, organized, and accommodating to all of my requests as a buyer. I was a first time home buyer, on relocation from Northwest Arkansas and was pressed for time to purchase a home in the Cincinnati area. I was looking for an agent that was eager to educate me in the house buying process, dedicated to my home purchase, and willing to work via fax machines to get the purchase agreement finalized. She kept me up to date on all new MLS#'s and once I put an offer on the house she did a lot of leg work including inspection follow ups with estimates making sure the purchase price was accurate which gave me comfort with the decision of purchasing my first house! Amy was available 24/7 for all my questions and concerns. ,I don't know what I would have done without her.
Being first time home buyers we were very happy to have Amy on our side. She confidently walked us through each step, while never making us feel uncomfortable or pressured. Her experience, honesty, and tireless work ethic made us feel like she was truly going to bat for us. There's no doubt that we will use her again and we'd highly recommend her to anyone interested in buying a home.
Amy was the seller's agent who sold us our house in Oakley. From our initial meeting, my wife and I were extremely impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the property that she was selling to us. Although somewhat unconventional, we interacted more with Amy than our agent from the offer to closing on the house. We knew that no matter what time of the day, we were going to receive a prompt and knowledgeable response. Because of our great experience with Amy, we have recommended her to our friends who have subsequently used her to purchase their homes all with wonderful experiences. We will definitely be using Amy when we purchase our next house!
When I first met Amy at a local coffee house to discuss my housing situation in the Spring of 2007, I could not have imagined that in two short months I would be happily settled into my first home -- a condo that truly exceeds my expectations daily. When a friend recommended I meet with Amy I wasn't even sure I was ready to become a homeowner -- in large part because I had not yet met a realtor with whom I felt comfortable. I therefore felt myself resigned to yet another hot summer in my non-air-conditioned rental unit. Logically, I knew I wanted to buy my first home, and that I was in a good position to do so, but I needed the confidence that working with a trusted realtor and true advocate provides in order to move forward.
Much of my unease quickly melted away after our first meeting when Amy assured me that she was well equipped to walk me through the buying process, step by step. She told me that is was her job -- and one that she loved -- to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for her clients. As a first-time buyer this was music to my ears! Her enthusiasm and competence did not waver throughout the entire process. This included some snags with my lender (on their end) in the final days before the closing. (This was a lender I had chosen against Amy's advice, for the record.) I was under a major deadline at work and was quite upset about these last-minute problems. However, Amy took over and handled ALL of the details to ensure a smooth closing.
When I think back about my experience working with Amy I can't help but marvel at the integrity she demonstrated the night I made an offer: Amy suggested that I lower the number we had come up with for my initial offer. I had complete trust in her and frankly it really proved to me that she had my best interest at heart. Because of her recommendation I ended up paying about 5% less than I had hoped!
I usually shy away from strongly endorsing people, but I have such confidence in Amy I have been recommending her left and right. In fact, two weeks after I closed on my condo Amy helped my sister buy the home of her dreams.
We especially appreciate the extra care you gave us as we searched for our new home. You asked all the right questions and helped us to find the home that was right for us. We really appreciate the virtual tour you created for our new home, allowing us to share it with family and friends. This was certainly an added bonus.
You were always available for our questions and so responsive to our phone calls. We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Thank you for everything!
While contemplating a move from the Philadelphia area to Cincinnati, we found Amy's impressive website that provided information about her services and relocation issues. When our house sold more quickly than we ever imagined, we scrambled to plan a quick trip to Cincinnati to find a new home. We were so rushed that we neglected to contact Amy until we were more than half-way to Cincinnati! Amy graciously responded to our request for help in finding a suitable home in Cincinnati and rearranged her schedule for the very next day so that she could immediately begin showing us properties. In a single afternoon, she showed us 8 houses in the Hyde Park area and in Anderson Township!
On the second day, we found a wonderful condo, but had some concerns about evidence of a water leak in a basement level room. To make a long story short,Amy, quite conscientiously and professionally guided us through negotiating with the sellers to secure their agreement to pay for the damage and repairs. She also helped us employ a contractor that responded to our request for help immediately! How often does that happen? We were most impressed with Amy's communications with us. She kept us informed throughout the purchase process - even when our closing conflicted with her honeymoon!
We are truly thankful that we found Amy through her fabulous website! Her help extended far beyond what we have briefly outlined. Perhaps best of all, we made a terrific new friend!
Amy met all of our needs. From the very first day we walked through the home buying process step-by-step so we never met any bumps or surprises in the road. She provided a great deal of information on different communities during our search for the perfect home, but still listened to what we wanted. When we were finally ready to make an offer, Amy was ready to meet with us on a Saturday night! She played a key role in negotiating the best price for our home which was an important factor in our purchase. She was always available to answer questions or meet with us beyond the day we signed the papers! She even recommended a great place nearby to help us with our pet's needs! In our first home purchase, the deal went smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was a great experience and we couldn't be happier with our house that has become a home! Thank you Amy!
Amy Broghamer helped us find the house of our dreams in a city which we had only visited once, and walked us through our first-ever home-buying experience, educating us constantly along the way, ensuring things ran smoothly, and becoming a great friend in the process!
My husband and I had a rather busy spring-matching at Cincinnati Children's for our residencies, getting married, graduating from medical school, and packing to move halfway across the country! We had no family in Cincinnati, and learned we would be starting work in Cincinnati less than three months before our official start date. This left us with both the excitement and the stress of finding our new home. We started looking at homes on the internet, and had the good fortune of having a new colleague recommend Amy.
From the beginning, Amy was warm, informative, reliable and efficient, and just incredibly good at everything she did. After just a week of e-mailing and talking on the phone about parts of town, certain features we were hoping to find in a home, things we needed to know about the home-buying process, and Cincinnati itself, we felt we could trust Amy completely and really loved working with her. Due to unforeseen time restraints, we were actually unable to travel to Cincinnati to purchase our home. We discussed this with Amy, and ultimately decided to entrust her with finding a house for us without us ever having seen the house, the area, or even having ever met her. Amy went way above and beyond the responsibilities of any realtor, and visited eight of our favorite homes in a two-day time period, taking her digital camera and creating "virtual tours" of between 50-90 pictures from each home. She sent these to us promptly, and then would talk us through the homes, providing invaluable commentary on the neighborhoods, the condition of the home, the property value and future selling potential, etc. When we determined which home we wanted, she sprang into action and made the process as easy as possible for us, and thanks to her, the entire process was completed well before our deadline, thus making our move that much less stressful. She essentially did everything for us, as we were not physically able to sign any documents. Her efficiency was remarkable! We cannot emphasize enough how comfortable we felt working with Amy, how we knew we could trust her from the beginning, and how her constant enthusiasm, superb knowledge, excellent advice, and genuine caring, friendly attitude made us grateful every day that we were so fortunate as to have her as our realtor.
Amy was there for us from the time we first spoke with her, and she is still helping us by providing recommendations on everything from a local veterinarian to reliable handymen to giving us contact information for fencing companies with whom she has worked. She did everything in her power to make the relocation process as pleasant as possible for us, and she worked hard to ensure that our first homecoming, as we stepped into our new home for the first time, was special and welcoming. As we arrived two days before our furniture, Amy even went so far as to provide us with an air mattress, sheets, towels, soap, food, napkins, plates, utensils, and even dog treats!
We recommend Amy Broghamer to everyone in search of a truly outstanding realtor whom you can trust completely and who is extraordinarily efficient, knowledgeable, and a kind, warm, sincere person. We can also vouch that she is a great listener, because both of us talked at length with her about the features we were hoping to find in a house, and our new home truly is our house of dreams, in what we consider to be the most perfect neighborhood (for our needs) in Cincinnati.
You will not find another realtor that is more dedicated, knowledgeable, timely, and personable than Amy Broghamer. I received Amy's name from a friend that had told me that she was the best. After working with her, I am now telling my friends the same thing. Amy goes above and beyond from the start of the home search to post closing. She helped me to plan by setting dates and sending reminders to let me know when I needed to have things completed throughout the process. Amy is exceptional with follow-ups and is extremely organized. My home buying experience would not have gone as smoothly without her. She truly stands out in the Real Estate industry and you can always trust that she will put in 150%. I was so fortunate to have her on my side!
When it comes time for me to relocate again in a few years, my home will definitely be listed with Amy. Thanks again for everything!!! I really appreciate the fact that you are always on top of every detail!!! I have enjoyed working with you and I will definitely be referring you to my friends when they are ready to purchase in the Cincinnati area.
