It”s not easy for most of us to make time to exercise. Add little kids to the mix and you’re lucky you even get to shower some days! But, Stroller Strong has found a fun way to get you and your little one out the door for a workout each week; with a fitness class for moms/caretakers and their young children. According to Owner/Instructor Rita Eversole-Doty, “Staying healthy and strong is key to being the best mom you can be for your children. Each time my husband and I drive over the railroad track that runs along Wasson Avenue in Hyde Park and Oakley, we talk about how awesome it would be if that unused railroad track was a walking path. After all, it runs for 6 miles from Victory Parkway to Mariemont by way of Hyde Park and Mt.Lookout (through Ault Park). There is even a 2 mile long perfectly straight stretch running through Hyde Park and Rookwood Pavilion. There is a fan page on Facebook, although we’re not sure who the organizers are.
