Entering what would be the 50th year of Homearama, the home tour is currently not yet scheduled for 2010. Sites are being considered in Warren and Hamilton counties.

The housing market is affecting the planning. “It’s a bridge to cross and a big commitment for builders to do Homearama,” HBA Executive director Dan Dressman told the Middletown Journal.

Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has not yet had commitments from enough of its members to schedule the show. There will be an announcement about the future of Homearama 2010 sometime next month.

Last year’s Homearama took place at the Carmelle subdivision in Mason, and homes ranged from $550,000 to $950,000.

Citirama, in its ninth year, will kick off in June at the Rockford Hills subdivision.

In the past, Homearama has been a huge success. We’ll be watching for news about a 2010 show.
