A CRS is a Certified Residential Specialist — another one of the special qualifications that Realtors can earn.
I have earned my CRS designation in addition to my ABR. This means that I have passed a specific series of courses in a restricted amount of time that have given me special skills to better represent residential clients.
The Council of Residential Specialists offers this program. There are only slightly more than 38,000 active agents in the entire nation who hold this distinction, less than 4%. According to the Council, their

I am glad you are pointing out the value of a CRS designation. Indeed it is important for us agents to be trained well in all of the various aspects of our changing industry. I thinks CRS designations help set agents apart and encourage us to learn more about our own industry to better serve our clients.
